Not sure what to say?

I remember working with Joe at Public Square in downtown Cleveland. It may have been during the 1990s. There was an all-nations festival and the Slovak booth was placed next to the Slovenian booth so that the public could be educated about both communities and their ethnic heritage. First we had to shore up the booth displays because of wind. Then the weather turned and the whole festival ended early. Joe was always upbeat and a perfect representative of the Slovak community.

Joe was a great guy. I would see him at Jednota conventions and genealogy conferences over the years. He would ship my packages when I ordered things from the Slovak Benedictine Library.

we will truly miss this man...he was a great customer...always had a smile for us.....Fred and Rita of Walgreens

Dear Dolores,

So sorry for your loss. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Joe's enthusiasm for the Slovak community was boundless. He helped people connect and get involved in projects and events that preserve and celebrate our history and culture. It was a privilege to have known him.
