Not sure what to say?

Miss you Father Joe. During my time of great need I had the great fortune of meeting you in a hospital hallway and you said you were in the wrong hospital when I asked for your help the response was God sent me to be in the wrong hallway so we could meet. My son was so sick and you traveled to various hospitals to be with me and my husband during our in need. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten

I think of Father Joe often, he was what every priest should be. He cared so much for his parishioners and was always available if you needed him. I look forward to the day that we will hopefully meet again.

There are some very exceptional people in the world. This man, uniquely husband, father, priest, was obviously one of those. Not having had the pleasure of knowing him, I know that he had a very positive and big impact on the world.

Dear Family and Friends of Father Joe, as a fellow alumnus of Pope St John XXIII National Seminary, I prayed Holy Mass for the repose of his soul and your consolation at this time of need of God's Grace on Sept 21, 2014. God Bless Father Paul Theisz 2009

With gratitude for this blessed priest who served the people of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and handled the church closings of recent years in Sullivan County with abundant grace-filled compassion and understanding. He had a heart for his people. Each time we visited, we admired his care for his flock. May he rest in peace. And may God comfort, and keep in his care, Fr. Hornick's children, their families, and the people of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Prayers for his Soul, sympathy to his families, children, church, Diocesan! A classmate of mine in Seminary, a good man, prayerful man, dedicated to family, God and Country! Rest in Peace, Joe!

My prayers and condolence to Fr. Joe's family and friends. He was a wonderful friend, brother seminarian and brother priest. He will be remembered at all Masses this weekend at Saint Joseph.
Rev. Roy Campbell, pastor, Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Largo, MD

My prayers and condolence to the family & friends of Fr. Joe. He was one year behind of me at the seminary. I will remember him at the Mass in my parish at St. Columba Church in Oxon Hill, MD.

We wish to express our heartfelt condolences to Fr. Joe's children – Paul, Theresa, and Robert along with their families and to the members of his Parish. Be assured of our prayers for the rest in peace of his soul, with the certainty that the Good Shepherd has already welcomed into Eternal life this generous and committed pastor of His flock.
