Not sure what to say?

Yes, what a VERY GOOD SOUL.

I knew Joe from Lake Tahoe and our time in ma. What A GOOD SOUL.
RIP.

Tonight I passed the place where I picked Joe up in Las Cruces New Mexico the day he broke down on his bicycle riding from Phoenix to El Paso. Way back in late April 2009. We spent maybe an hour together but I have never forgotten you. I know you rest in peace in Gods loving arms.

Hi Joe, pray for us! You was my best friend in California! I think also to all your family!
Your friend from Montreux Switzerland!
Fred

I pray for strength and comfort for you and your family during this time. The last time I saw Joe was at a local store a few years ago. He came up to me and said "hi" with a big smile and talked about how wonderful it was growing up in the big, Huckins family. His love of family was very evident. He remembered my son. Adam, in his elementary school class. Joe always seemed to be a gentle soul: very thoughtful, caring and nice.

Again, may God comfort you and your family at this...

I met Joe only once for 1 hour. He was hitchhiking with a broken bicycle outside Las Cruces, NM heading for El Paso airport, finishing his bike trip across the Southwest in April.
We talked while driving, stopped to get some icecream. He talked about his big family and his parents, how much he loved being an arborist and traveling with friends on bike trips. How good his life was. He said when he got back to California the next day he would call me to let me know he had gotten home...

My heart breaks for your family over this loss of your son. I had never met Joe but worked with your son Pat at Lucky's Grocery. That was many years ago and now I have 3 boys of my own. Please let Pat know I'm thinking of him. Your entire family is in my prayers.

I'm so sorry you lost your wonderful son, brother. Joe was a friend of my son's and I always thought he was a very genuine person. He will be remembered by all as such a man.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
May thinking of Joe soften your hurting heart and make you smile of all the memories. Mary Henderson
