Joseph Hudak

Joseph Hudak, 90, of Fanwood, died on Sunday, July 23, 2017. The Funeral will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 at 9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, Scotch Plains. The Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the funeral home from 5-8pm.

Joseph was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ. He settled to Fanwood with his wife in 1957. They built their home there and raised their family. Joseph worked for 31yrs. as an Installer for NJ Bell. He retired in 1982. Joseph loved going to the Beach, especially Daytona Beach, Fl. Joseph enjoyed fishing and surf-casting. Joseph was in the Merchant Marines during World War II.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 65yrs. Irene; his two sons John "Jack" (Dorothy), and Richard (Cynthia); his daughter Cynthia Meissner; his seven grandchildren Kristen Rosero (Luis), Alison Silva (James), Anne Piacentino (John), Jason (Stella), Jesse (Jacqui), Joshua, and Jenna; and his seven great-grandchildren.
