I worked with JD at Oobas maybe 15 years ago and even after all this time, I will never forget his smile, laugh and easy going demeanor. Sending a big hug and lots of love to JD’s family during this time.

We are so saddened to learn of the passing of JD. My daughter and he worked together, and after she left for college, my wife and I would visit the restaurant often. jD would always great us warmly as if we still had a member of the family there! Rest in peace, dear friend.

JD: The world dimmed a little as that big heart, and mischievous spirit passed over.
