Not sure what to say?

It was very sad to receive this notification. I, too, went to St. Ambrose with Joey years ago, and I remember him as being such a nice kid. I enjoyed knowing him for such a short time in his life. My condolences to your family.

We are all very sorry to hear about Joe. We have many good
memories. Out sincere sympathy.

Majella:
I am very sorry to hear about your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Mrs. Hynes and Family,
It has been over 30+ years since I last saw Joey but rarely has a day gone by that I haven't thought of him and asked Karen Johnson if she knew how he was doing. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. Our days at St. Ambrose and Joey's beautiful smile will always be remembered. Please accept my deepest condolences. My prayers are with each of you.

To the entire Hynes family,
I have never met your son and knew absolutly nothing about him, till now. All I can say from reading all the many wonderful memories and stories of him, he must have been a very wonderful, caring and loved person one will ever meet. May all the memories you have of him and reading the many tributes to him, help you through these very hard times. You were blessed to have such a wonderul son and from what I read he was blessed to have all of you. Please...

My condolences to Mrs. Hynes and all of the Hynes children. Joey was my classmate for 8 years at St. Ambrose School. I have our First Communion and graduation pics here with him beaming in the front row. Always smiling and cheerful to others is the memory we share of him.

Mrs. Hynes, Maryann, Tony, Rich, and the rest of the Hynes family - you have my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your son and brother and this wonderful man. Since our Timon High days Joe was a great friend (best man at my wedding) and a calm inspiration through this journey. My life and the work that I do is energized by his words and the memory of his confident love and friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with you now.
