Dear Fred and Ellen, I don't know if you remember me, but I worked for your father at Paul, Weiss back in the mid-80s. He was such an interesting and experienced person -- but never haughty -- very sincere and down to earth. After reading the obituary in the New York Times, I was surprised how ignorant I was about how many things he had accomplished in his lifetime.
