"My earliest memories of Joe were when he was 14 or 15. DoDo as she referred to him at that time was her protector from the teasing of the other brothers. This created a bond that lasted until busy lives and distance got in the way. During this time, she visited Joe and his family while he was in Med school in Loma Linda and during an internship in San Jose. She also, on occasion, house sat and babysat for Tracy and Brian. Joe was a very quiet presence-whom you immediately trusted. I am glad to have met him a very brief time, and also glad that I did not know him more-in being spared the loss of a dear heart and soul. My love goes out to his family, and to Joe, who was indeed, a very precious soul.
