Dear Family,
I met Joe about 14 years ago.
I met him at cardiac rehab as a cardiac rehab nurse. The years were fun and busy. He kept us on our toes with our knowledge and care. He made us learn about him and the disease. Because Joe was not a simple case, was anything he did sipmle???
I remember him fondly with much love and laughter with his years with us at Cardiac Rehab.
Rae Ann Deroche R.N.

The passing of Joe is a sad time for our family, he will be dearly missed. Vera Salvant Harrison, daughter of Robert M. Salvant, Sr. and Violet Anastacia Edwina Jaeger.

I was about three years old when I was introduced to Joe Jaeger. He was in the CCC with my two older brothers and would come to our house in Montz from their camp in LaPlace. He always gave me a silver dime to sing La Marseillaise for him. He dated my oldest sister and through the years he stayed in touch with our family, through World War II and until around 2003. He came to my father's and mother's funerals.
He and my father had something in common; they had both graduated from...

We will always have loving memories of you Joe, our wonderful, caring brother,(in-law).
