Not sure what to say?

I was very saddened to learn of Joe's passing, as it was much too soon. I met Joe in our graduate course in botany at the University of Michigan Biological Station in 1980, and he was a wonderful classmate, skilled in botany (especially in grasses)and was someone who always buoyed everyone with his upbeat demeanor, interest, and witty sense of humor. Rest in peace Joe.

Truly sad news indeed! Professor Jaworski was one of my favorite professors!

I have lost another special, fascinating, intelligent dear friend. We last talked JAN 11. He seemed to be doing well. So, I was shocked and saddened to see his obit in the Citi Pat Sunday.
Every day, I had been praying for him to be well enough to enjoy retirement and do some traveling. Indeed, he has traveled to where he will have no more health problems.

Button Joe was a really fun guy. He and I talked and swapped buttons. He was a really nice guy and I truly enjoyed his company. I'm going to miss him.

It has been a pleasure to know Prof Joe since he was a student at SAC and a faculty member at SAU ... an interesting, challenging professor who knew his subject and cared for the many students in class. A privilege to have him in some of my classes many years ago. A man of conviction who integrated Faith and Learning. carl jacobson
