HILDEBRAND, Joseph Lee “Joe” - Of Flint, age 70, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to Old News Boys Flint.
Visitation 12pm-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Joe was born in Flint on January 31, 1949, the son of Joseph Lee and Marion (Parker) Hildebrand. He married Virginia Lee Dial on July 8, 1967, in Flint. Prior to retirement, he worked for General Motors as a die maker for 39 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, going up North and attending all of his grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities. Joe was a member and Deacon of Grace Presbyterian Church in Davison. He was a collector for Old News Boys Flint for many years. Joe was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan.
Surviving are wife of 51 years, Virginia “Ginny”;
daughter, Paula (Parker) and husband Kevin Kabana;
son, Scott and wife Charlotte (Harvey) Hildebrand;
grandchildren, Jacob and MacKenzie Parker; Delaney, Presley and Drew Hildebrand and Pepper Lee;
sister, Patricia “Patti” Lynne (Hildebrand) and husband Duane Ward;
and many nieces and nephews.

To the Hildebrand family...so sorry for your loss...could not think of a better friend than Joe and Jennie and Scott and Paula...so saddened to see this happen...if any thing I can do please let me know...after losing Sandy it is still tough but we all pull together....Have to work day of funeral but will be there for visitation tonight...God Bless as I will be thinking of you...
