Joseph "Joe" Allen Mayer

Passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2018 in Clearwater Beach, FL. Joe was born on October 24, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Alphonse & Evelyn Mayer. Beloved husband for over 30 years to Marilyn Condella-Mayer of Oconomowoc, WI. Dear brother of Carol Amrhein, Robert (Joanie) Mayer, Mary (Mike) Comerford, James (Mary Ann) Mayer, Ralph (Mary Clarke) Mayer and beloved brother-in-law of Jack (Lyn) Condella, Joyce Benes, Patti (Mike) Tank & Paul Condella. Also preceded in death by Richard (Elenie Eliasen) Mayer, Ruth (James) Boyce, John Mayer & Elaine (Robert) Hofstetter. Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends and a special friend, Takashi.

A graduate of St Monica’s in Whitefish Bay and Marquette High. Joe loved hunting, fishing, water/snow skiing and his important role as Santa Claus for the family. Visitation is from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a remembrance Mass at St Monica’s Catholic Church, 5601 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Whitefish Bay, on March 12, 2018.
