It is always great to reflect on the life of Joe. His guidance over the years continues to be a part of my thought process. Each time the City issues a financing the principles he shared provide a foundation of decision making. Those principles remain relevant and helpful.

it is amazing that a year has passed since Joe's death. The principles and disciplines he shared with me over the years remain a foundation for my decision making. His legacy truly does continue. The anniversary of his death is a reminder of the tremendous impact he made on the City's history and on my life. He was part of the conversation as we discussed City finances this week and the benefits of his professional advice.
