Not sure what to say?

Joe had an appointment with me today and I discovered he had passed away in September. I have been Joe's hygienist since 2011 and wanted to express my sadness at his passing. I always looked forward to seeing him and appreciated his sense of humor, wisdom and kindness. A great loss for the world and each of those who knew him. I will miss him and feel blessed to have known him.
Warmly,
JoLene

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. He always treated me with respect. He will be missed as a great lawyer in the community. DeEtte

I am sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We served together in the Iowa Legislature in the 60s. He was a true advocate for civil rights and stood up for what he believed in. Specifically I recall that we worked on legislation to upgrade living and working conditions for migrant workers brought into Iowa by growers to pick vegetables and fruit. I have a DSM Tribune news article from a migrant workers' march in March 19, 1969, in which Joe is quoted addressing the crowd: I've never been more...

I am so sorry and saddened for your sudden and unexpected loss. I enjoyed golfing with Joe on numerous occasions at the Elk's.

I met Joe and Tim on the basketball court 12 years ago and have always enjoyed their conversations. I'm sorry to hear this while travelling for work but want to give positive thoughts to the entire family. Appreciate that he was playing golf and watching the Hawks on Saturday. Just as it seems he would have wanted.

Joe was in good spirits Friday at a conference in Des Moines. He shared some good stories. We will all miss him and the light he added to any conversation.

I just attended a mediation seminar and sat right next to Joe and I am so saddened by his passing. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Amanda,Tyler & Tim,
I am so sorry to hear of joe's passing. As you all know Joe was a special person to me. I will miss him.
I am currently overseas but my thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear about Joe; my heart aches for all of you, especially you, Amanda. Sincere sympathy from our family to yours. Will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Kathy Huitink. PS. I am babysitting in Pella with grandkids. Hope to get over. If I don't, it will only be because Dan's work schedule does not allow(his wife is gone all week to national meeting.)
