Not sure what to say?

Joe, I remember you as a fun and talented friend. We had fun sharing our love of theater. You left too soon. Your friend, Bob

Joe, I remember the fun we had when we played in "Zoo Story" together. You were an excellent actor. Miss you. Bob Wicke

My friends and I had a little vintage company in Newtown for a dozen years- we bought so many things from Joe- chairs and tables and cool stuff. I found out recently that he passed- would like to just say how much I enjoyed his banter and kind gruff sweet manner. He was a good man, I´m sorry for your loss. [email protected]

Mr. K was an excellent and meaningful teacher and counselor to me during my time at WMMHS in 2009. During a hard year, he happened to be my study hall proctor and I have found memories of sitting next to him, sharing stories and receiving his encouragement to keep going. I still think of him from time to time and am so saddened to hear of his passing. Joe was a fun guy. We put on the Edward Albee play "Zoo Story" years ago. Joe was the lead as Jerry. I was Peter. He was a good actor and a good friend. He always talked about his son whom he loved. Miss you, Joe. Bob Wicke

Mr. Karczewski was my honors English teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas in 1981-82. He was such a great teacher so interesting and funny! He had nicknames for all of us. He was very demanding but remained kind and fair. Many of us wrote our share of "P.E.'s"- penalty essays when we needed a kick in the can in class for whatever reason he deemed. I...

Joe was a great guy and will be missed dearly

So sorry to hear of Joe´s passing. I remember him well from St. Peter´s High. He was a handsome and sweet guy with a good sense of humor in addition to being a top notch football player. My condolences to Joe´s family.

Thanks for contacting me Jamie. So sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. I knew Joe from St. Peter's and from him frequenting our family's restaurant. Lost contact with him in the 80's until i started selling at the Golden Nugget in the late 90's. Often helped one another out with purchasing items that we re-sold. Your dad was a straight up guy. Often had some great conversations sitting in the back of his truck at the Golden Nugget. He will be missed. My condolences to you and the...
