Such special memories of a unique, wonderful guy. I keep one of Jay’s paintings in my office to help keep what I learned from Jay in my thoughts. My best to his family.

My wife Nancy and I are so sorry to learn of Jay's death. I enjoyed meeting and working with him during his days as President and owner of Martin Gillet. Our thoughts go out to Barbara, Jeff, and the rest of his family.

My wife and I are so sorry to hear of Jay's passing. We worked for Martin Gillet for over 27 years and have fond memories of Mr. Katz when he visited the LA Plant. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Jay was so much more than my boss at Martin Gillet. Jay treated me like family. He was my mentor who gave me a chance in a new career, taught me so much while allowing me to make my own mistakes.
