Dear Carol and family of Joe Katz, your
Dad will be sorely missed, he was great. Prayers and warm thoughts are with you all from the Hughes/Murphy family.

I have lots of good memories from my years of working for Joe. There were good, funny and bad times but Joe was such a force of nature. I've never met anyone who left such an impression on me. Of all the people I've worked with, it's Katz, Martin & Brill I remember the most and fondest. Joe is surely still trying to do things his way in the hereafter.

Kindly accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of such a wonderful man. Joe was truly one of the best persons to come out of the New Jersey State House. He had a very special career in and around government and always treated everyone he met with courtesy and kindness. His was a long and good life.
