Mr.K was a great teacher always cheerful and smiling he always talked about his kids and how big of a family he had.We had many laughs in his class.I'm saddened to hear of his passing he was truly a magnificent individual and will be missed dearly.Rip Mr K.

NOV. 18 To Joe's family; I recently returned to the area and went to the Chicopee Stop & Shop. Whenever I was at the store I first looked for Joe before I started any shopping. Joe was always busy and always engaging in a cordial conversation with whomever he was assisting. He was blessed with such a positive attitude. We always discussed his day at school and he absolutely enjoyed his students and the classroom milieu. One of our enjoyable discussions was the fact that he always managed to...

Joe's quiet ways and good cheer are so rare in a world that values loud voices and feeds on complaints. His love for his family was a big part of his quiet inner light, greatly to be missed. As another former colleague, I am shocked to learn of his sudden loss, but grateful to have had his example.

I worked many years with Joe. He was a dedicated teacher. Students learned so much in his class. He will be missed so much...like can be so short...miss you Joe.

My condolencences to the family. Mr. K was a wonderful man with a calming spirit. As a Career Counselor i was able to hear first hand how much the students here at WJC loved him.
