Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to read of Mr. Kilfoyle's death in the Boston College Magazine. Years ago I was in one of Mr. Kilfoyle's science classes at Danvers High School (where my late father was principal). He was a wonderful teacher and a caring human being. I extend my sincere sympathy to the entire family.

The O'Donnell Family and Staff of The O'Donnell Funeral Home wish to express our sincere sympathy to you. It is our hope that we may be able to make this difficult period more bearable. Please feel free to call on us at anytime, as we are always available for you

My condolences to all the Kilfoyle family members...my prayers are with you. I remember the family from years ago when I lived in Salem on Clifton Avenue and attended the same schools as they did. Mary went to school with my brother Tom and one of the Doctors with my brother Robert.

To the Kilfoyle family:
I wish to express my sorrow for the passing of Joseph Kilfoyle. I work closely with Kevin at Minuteman and have always been particularly impressed by his loving actions toward his parents. From frequent lawn-mowing to making sure that his parents have proper care, he did what needed to be done. I have felt his dedication as I now feel his family's grief.

Uncle Joe kept "hanging in there" throughout all of the challenges that life had in store for him. In his own quiet way, he was an inspiration for his entire family. We will miss him.

Uncle Joe modeled courageous steadfast determination in a sweet gentle way. I appreciated how much he loved his family, especially Aunt Theresa, Kevin, Pat and their children. He had a great sense of humor! Thanks for all those family photoes Uncle Joe. Have fun out there reuniting with family on the other side. We all will miss you on this side. With love from VT

My condolences go out to the entire Kilfoyle family at this time of sorrow. I am going to miss Uncle Joe very much. My thoughts are with you.

Courage, will power, humor, quiet determination all describe Uncle Joe. A good roommate, a wonderful Uncle and a great God father will be missed. I pass onto my children "freddie the frog" and "peter the rabbit" and how strong convictions and belief in God can overcome the strongest temptations. With the passing of Uncle Joe, the table is now full of Kilfoyle's and Shortell's laughing and telling stories. How I miss those days. I love you!
