Joseph Maurice Killion

Speaking as an old friend ( I 74 yrs now), Joe as one of the kindest friends a women could have. The whole Killion family was great (sort of like a second family to me) My family was back in CT and Florida, Oregon too. Joe helped me to get relief from alcoholism, work harder, think better of myself. I did meet his parents, friends with Thea(sister), found out she died at 60 yrs of breast cancer, so I cried in CT. Joe was a good boss with strong character at GVEA. I joked that he and Maureen hired me to decipher his handwriting, because it was really something! He lit up whenever he talked about Teresa and the kids and encouraged me to homeschool my own children. I can only imagine

I met Joe in 1989, when he mentored me on the basics of substations at GVEA, which I always appreciated. He had a ready smile. He revered his wife and children.
