Yesterday I ran into a friend of Joe`s who informed me of his passing. I didn`t want to believe him; I was very sad.

I thought very highly of Joe, and even though it had been several years since I`d seen him, I will really miss him. So many good memories as a teenager fishing with Joe in the rowboat -- those I will never forget. Love you Joe; rest in peace man.

It has been an entire year since you unexpectedly left us. I am sure you already know this, but your family misses you dearly. Dear Fred and Mary and Family, we are so sorry for the loss of your son. Our son Joe Schubel graduated CMH with him, and we remember meeting you when we did your cabinetry for your new home. Our hearts are deeply saddened for you, and we truely pray that Gods love will remind us all that we will see each other again some day.
