I just heard about the death of a wonderful man, Joe Kirkpatrick. I had the privilege of working w/Joe @ the Elkhorn Area School District. I worked w/Joe from his beginning years until I retired so about 10 years. What an asset he was to our school and to our students. To the Kerpatrick family, Elkhorn Area PD Family and EAHS Family, Our sympathy and prayers go out to you all. I knew Officer Kerpatrick in meeting him a few times over the years he was an EMT and Police Officer. He was a kind, considerate, helpful person. He also helped my mom in a snow storm about 10 years ago. May he RIP.
