Not sure what to say?

It was my honor to be able to call him Uncle Joe. Although I called him uncle he was far more. He is part of my family's history that made us who we are today. He taught me to stick with a task , no matter how big or small. He taught me that no matter what else happens in your life , family is the most important thing. For the first nine years of my life I was Uncle Joe's and Aunt Sis's little girl, then we were blessed with Kak. I never felt like a niece, but more like a part time...

Ron and I first met Kathy's dad, Joe, at a Deadwood baseball game. The team wasn't doing well, but Joe was being positive and cheering them on. In fact, each visit to California included attending the Deadwood baseball games. He never lost enthusiasm at the games, win or loose. From the beginning,Joe's patience, sense of humor, and genuine concern for people made him an enduring fellow. Each time Ron and I went to Mike and Kathy's family gatherings, Joe would sit with us and ask us about...

We had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Joe and seeing him when he would come out to visit his daughter Kathy. The times I saw him I could count on my two hands, but that was enough to know what a remarkable man he was. Very gracious, open, caring, honest, genuine; his heart was always in the right place and he will be forever remembered and missed. I thank God for the opportunity of knowing him. (Joe, I bet the oranges are even better up there!)God bless Joe and his family. Sincerely,...

I am very fortunate to have had the pleasure of knowing Joe and working with him for more than 20 years. He was a very special man, a great and skillful teacher, as well as a wonderful friend. Joe taught me patience, perseverence, and gave me the gift of sharing what I had learned with my friends and coworkers. JK, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Hit a home run for me and I'll be there to catch it. Until then, God Bless you and your loved ones, Andrea (AK)

I never had the honor of meeting Joe in person but I did have the pleasure of speaking to him numerous times on the phone and in letters to one another. I reached out to you to help me with trying to get my father Charlie into the Hall of Fame along side you. I can't tell you how rewarding it was to hear all of the old stories about Rockland Lake and my father. You wrote some wonderful references for me that I will cherish forever. God Bless you #21. I will miss you more than anyone will...
