Not sure what to say?

The true measure of a man is not measured in his accomplishments, deeds or endeavors. But is measured in his honor, integrity, the conviction of his beliefs, and his positive effect upon others. I can only hope to live life as well. I will miss you and forever be proud that you were my Father.

I think the last time I saw Joe. He had a golf club in his hand. Time flies. sorry for your loss with sympathy

Thank you all for the kind words. I love you dad and will miss you everyday. Steady as you go.

Deepest sympathy to Kevin, Patti, & families in the loss of your Dad. Joe was truly an American Hero who deserves our respect & admiration for all the contributions & sacrifices he made for all of us. We're blessed to have known him. Thoughts & prayers from the Herman family. With Love, Skip & Karen Herman & family

My Dad, Jim Leonard was a boyhood friend of Joe and he said, that Joe was a true "American Warrior" with our deepest sympathy.
