Not sure what to say?

I met Mr. Korzenik at Westfield State University a couple of years ago. I was sorry for his suffering, and what he endured. He signed my Bible. Laura

To the Korzenik Family,
Unfortunately I just heard of your loss of your father. I am very sorry for your loss. I have not spoken to him since last summer when we met in West Hartford for coffee. I visited him when he was in the hospital in Farmington when he had surgery. I knew your father for 15 years when he came to speak at a school where I was student teaching. Since that day he came to my school where I teach now E.O. Smith High school in Storrs . He always came every year and in...

Joe and my dad were such good friends for sso many years. I miss listening to them bicker when they were together. I tried to keep in touch with him, but time runs away

To all of those closest and dearest to Joe,

My profound sympathies for your loss. I knew Joe best when, as a child, he was a frequent visitor to our house who brought good cheer, insight, warmth, and sensitivity. His remarkable story of survival and overcoming hardship and cruelty to succeed in a new life stands as a beacon of hope and the power of life force. I remember Joe as both passionate and compassionate, a man of candor and integrity, and I know he will be missed.

All the years at your house are still so vivid to me. I'm saddened by this news. My thoughts are with you all.

Love, Gail

Dear Michelle, Larry, Bruce, Jennifer and AJ,

I just found out. My thoughts, love and prayers are with you.
Love, Eve

I appreciated our many hours of discussion, argument, storytelling, and loving compassion at Gus and Paul's Jewish deli in Springfield. Joe succeeded, through strong determination, in making a good life, overcoming huge obstacles. I'm proud to have known him, and am sorry that he's gone. Somewhere he's telling a very long, involved story to a rapt audience.

My deepest sympathy to Michelle and Bruce and the rest of the family. I just found out tonight about cousin Joe's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

STRONG HANDS REACHED
GENTLY TO STROKE MINE
A LOOK THAT SAID
"I AM FINE"
FOR YOU TO SEE
WHAT,S BEEN DONE TO ME
IS ALL INSIDE
WRISTS I CAN HIDE
THIS MAN WAS STRONG
THIS MAN WAS BRAVE
HE WILL NOT REST THERE
IN A GRAVE
HIS WORK GOES ON
