Matt and Chris - I´m so sorry to see this news. I have so many fond memories of your parents. You all are in my thoughts as you say goodbye to your father.

I was a member of the running club that Joe belonged to and would often see him working out in Poly canyon. I teamed up with Joe for a relay at Laguna Lake Park and watched him as he ran half a dozen local marathons in the late 1970's into the mid-1980's. He was always friendly and outgoing, up-to-date on current events, and had a positive attitude every time I saw him.
