Dear Kowalski family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was one of the coolest, funniest, and most amazing men I have ever known. I hope that your memories of him help you to get through this time. Be strong and remember that you have friends that are here for you.
With love Jessica

Daddy, Thank you for everything. You were a wonderful father to me, a great pop pop to my boys and such a blessing to my husband. We all love you so much. You gave us all such wonderful memories. I am so thankful of the blessing of having you in my life for as long as I did. I will always remember all our times together. I will miss you so much. Love always, your Cookie.

It's amazing how people leave their imprint on others in this world. Their imprint can be seen on the life we touch and all of us were touched by Joe. Born in Poland, taken at age 12 as a prisoner in a German concentration camp; after his liberation he marries a German girl and moved to the United State. That's what movies are made of. Joe was a character. Always playful, joking and just fun to be around. He loved to put a smile on your face. And the ladies....he could charm them. ...
