Joseph J. Kozar

I was thinking about the Kozar and Lozar families and remembering our games of Kick the Can. I've been living abroad since 2001 so have been quite out if touch. Sorry to hear about Joey's passing. Praying for Joey and his entire family and all his friends.

I'll miss you Joe, my first out of family friend. My fondest memories of childhood all have you in them, whether catching fireflies, playing release the den, baseball, bachelor parties, hikes in Metro, and times at KSU. Thank you Randy for sharing his last days with me.

Now you are up there with my brother Tommy. From what I remember you both had good times and some bad times together, but mostly good I'd say. Peace and love to your family, sisters, and brother.

I have nothing but fond memories of happy times spent with Joe in our youth and am saddened to hear of his passing. He was always a very special and thoughtful (and classy) individual and a good and caring man. My thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Joyce, Nancy and Tom, Randy, Ryan, Elia, Laura and Jenna, and Heather and Courtney, and to all who have had their lives touched by Joe.
