Not sure what to say?

Another year has gone by... I still think of Jolly Joe frequently and miss him.

One year since you went to the big polka party where the notes are perfect, the beat on time and all is popping! Joe you were one of a kind. I still run into your old albums all over the place, in used record stores, libraries and when I least expect it, your music shows up to remind us of "JOLLY JOE".

My condolences to the Koziol family. I met Joey many years ago when I lived in Indian Orchard on Nagle street. His music will remain in our hearts.

I remember playing trumpet for him on Frank Knight's show "Polka" in the late 70's. He was a great arranger and musician. He will be missed! RIP my friend!

I have fond memories of playing my violin on the same stage as Joe for various performances. He was a very well-known, talented musician. My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones at this difficult time. Rest in peace, Joe.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I was shocked to read Joe's obituary in this mornings newspaper . We were also brought up together back in the days! Thanks for all your emails Joe and now you have joined the Polka Band Stars up in heaven. Cherry Tree Oberek was your favorite song. Give Happy Louie a big hug for me! May you rest in peace.God Bless You Terry during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers !

I met Joe through a professional connection and he became my friend and my supplier of good music. "Just listen to that beat- that instrumentation- I really nailed it there!", he would say so many times with delight after making a new cd. I will always remember him and I offer my deepest sympathy to his family.

I learned of Joe´s death today, June 23rd. Joe was my first cousin, we grew up together, along with his sister Helen. His death was a shock to me. He will be missed. Elona Gentile
