Not sure what to say?

Dear Chuck, Tom and Family:
I was sorry to hear about the death of your dad. I always knew him as Mr. Kroll but all of the adults called him "Whitey". He was one of those men who had a very positive influence on my early baseball days. When I think of him, the vision is of a positive, kind and supportive coach. As a child, I never knew of his patriotic service to our Country. What a guy!

My thoughts go out to all of you for your loss.

Sincerely, John Comerford

I am...

Glad I knew him, and I had no idea he was so decorated despite seeing his medals. He was a my dad's best pal, as he used to say. Glad they're together.

Been a long time, but regards to the Kroll Family. Very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a very good person and enjoyed living and also assisting others throughout his life.
Regards to Chuck/Charles. Danny Swift

My sympathies to the Kroll family.
I had the honor and pleasure of meeting him about two years ago when he was hospitalized in Scranton. We quickly became friends and he would share his great stories of the Willow St. Indians and so many others with me. I loved hearing the pride in his voice and seeing the love in his eyes as he would recount the memories. He was a wonderful, kind person. I wish there were more people like him but there could only be one Joseph Kroll and I'm glad I knew...

Dear Tom, Chuck and Family

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad.

Tom, as you may recall, we spoke when your Mom passed away. It was so great to speak with your Dad at that time

I was so honored that he remembered me immediately. He was a great guy and a big influence on my early life. He spent so much time teaching me the foot work to playing 1st base. I still don't know if I got it right!

I will keep him and your Mom in our prayers and may he...

Chuck and Tom,
Very sorry to hear about your father's passing. He always had a smile on his face and went out of his way to help wherever he went. Like most of the coaches in Green Ridge, he made growing up there so much better. Congratulations to Whitey on a life well lived! You two guys were his greatest achievement. I will remember him in my prayers.
