Joseph H. Sr., 98, of Clifton on March 24, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude Kuhl. Loving father of the late Joseph H. Kuhl, Jr. Grandfather of Sharon Kuhl-Rome of Wallington and Joseph H. Kuhl III of Flanders. Great Grandfather of Giovanna-Marie Eckleberry. Great-great-grandfather of Alyssa.
Mr. Kuhl was born in Sugar Notch, PA and lived most of his life in Clifton. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post in Clifton. He was a Parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church. He had worked for Continental Can Company in Passaic for 30 years.
Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Thursday at 9:45 AM followed by a 10:30 AM funeral mass at St. Paul R.C. Church, Clifton. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Wednesday 6-9 PM www.marroccos.com

Joseph I will miss you dearly all the time we spent together you telling me stories about growing up in PA putting onions in your socks to keep the snakes away the good times as well as the bad....you became like a surrogate grandfather to me...you will be greatly missed I still cannot believe you are gone ... Rest in peace.... Sharon if there is anything I can do anything at all please do not hesitate to call I am here for you no matter what you have my number don't be afraid to use...
