Joseph Irvin Laird

It was an honor and a privilege to know Mr. Laird. He was so kind and outgoing. I moved into the neighborhood about 20 years ago and he shared many stories of its beginning. He spoke about the 1976 Bicentennial and enjoyed talking about the many cruises he went on with his wife. He loved talking about his family and loved his boxers. In loving memory of a wonderful person. I was sorry I was away and misses his funeral at Wayne Presbyterian Church. I shared his obituary with the other “Hutchinson Girls” and we shared stories of your dad. He had a very good long life and was well loved.
