Uncle Joe was a special man , we will miss him. He always had a smile and a joke for evevyone. We appreciate his military service and his devotion to family. God bless you all in your loss. Love Larry and Susan, Austinville, Va.

Brother Landis was a member of our church for many years. He was always faithful to God and the church. We had lots of fun and enjoyment together. We know he is around the throne of God where we shall all meet someday. We pray that the Holy Spirit will now comfort the Landis family and that He will enable us to continue fulfilling God's will in each of our own lives until the appointed time when God calls us home to glory. But O' what a time we will have when we meet our loved ones once again...

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Joe. May God comfort you and your family at this time. Hold onto the special times and memories that you shared together.

Dear Family,

My heart is saddened and comforted at the same time. What a wonderful, caring, man he was. The smile on his face, and the twinkle in his eyes, always showed love and compassion and how he loved those girls!!! You gals have matured into wonderful, beautiful ladies, and he was so proud of each one of you. Take comfort and peace in knowing that he is home now. He truly has fought the good fight and is now settling in his mansion awaiting your arrival to join him. Love...

Oh how my heart aches for each of you today. I dearly loved Joe. He, Barbara, Norma and Libby have been as much a part of the Sleeper family as Patty has over the past 26+ years. I love you all and so wish I were there with you.

I really enjoyed talking and spending time with Brother Landis over the years. I will always remember his smile and the twinkle in his eye.
Take comfort in the hope that we have in Christ of seeing him again and may your wonderful memories of him help you hold on until then.
