Not sure what to say?

In remembrance this day for all the sacrifices you and your family have made for us. Always in memory of your selfless sacrifice for our freedom. I will never forget. So much love to you and your family this day.

Eighteen years later, it´s still hard to believe you´re gone. Joey, your sacrifice and your spirit are never forgotten. You gave your life for your country, but your heart will always belong to your family who miss you every single day. You´ve given Memorial Day its true meaning for all.

We remember. My dad & I wrote short tributes here last Memorial Day. Just wanted to share a picture of Joey with my grandma Mazzie Mae along with a military profile pose of her first born, his grandfather, & my uncle who my dad believes was named after Sergeant York.

I wish I had the words to express our gratitude for all the sacrifices Joey and your family have made for our freedom. Joey will be forever in our hearts. Never forgotten.

Today on Memorial Day I remember Joey again as my folk´s flag flies at half staff until noon today. Joey was KIA on a Tuesday 2007 (it was my oldest's 20th birthday) as you see Joey was only 23. I remember the horrible week well as everyone was going on with their regular lives working & talking about football etc. I kept thinking about my aunt, uncle, thankful my dear sweet Grandma Mazzie Mae Wright Ellis passed the previous Feb so she didn´t have to endure another unfair loss, my dear...

Karen and Joe, your Aunt Neva and I will never forget what you have sacrificed for this country. Joey is, and will forever be our hero!

We will always remember your sacrifice to protect us. May God continue to give peace to your family. Your are missed and never forgotten. The Moore´s
