Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Father Lang's passing. I knew Father Lang when he was at St. Thomas Moore in Brooklyn, Ohio . He was a friend to my sister and her family. We were honored when he baptized her second son. Her oldest son was an alter boy and friends with Father Lang. Father Lang had a great sense of humor. I can remember Taking my nephew to church to serve mass and I would hear Father Lang singing. Yes, Father Lang our family will miss you.

Fr. Joe was a wonderful person and blessing to me. I live in South Carolina now and just learned of his passing. I join in praying for peace and comfort in Jesus for his family and loved ones.

As a former St. Phil's parishioner I too have fond memories of Fr. Lang. My older sister was very angry at our parents when we moved out of the parish as he was going to allow her to be a server. May he rest in the loving arms of God.

Loving Double Cousin.

My most heartfelt sympathy to Fr. Lang's family. He had to gift to bring people back to church who did not attend Mass for years. A neighbor who had not been to Mass in 30 years went daily thanks to Fr. Joe. At Easter he had live lambs at the church, one black & one white. The people at St. Philomena's just loved him! He was a wonderful priest.

I met my husband Don at a time I was living in a parish in which I couldn't enroll because I was not of the right nationality. He said come to St. Philomena's Fr. Lang takes everyone. He did and I am still there.
I am sure he was greeted in heaven by Fr. Mac, Msgr. O'Donnell, Al Rispoli and my own dear husband Don. God bless them all. May God receive them all into his light.

Father Lang was such a special person!!! He was very loving and caring and selfless in everything that he done. We enjoyed the time that he spent in Fort St. John and were saddened when he left the parish, and
again we are very saddened to hear of his passing, but know that he is in a better place. God blessed you Father Lang!!!

Fr Lang was a wonderful person and officiated all of the Buchheit children's sacraments at St Phils. He always took the time to answer all of our questions about religion and life in general. We never forgot when he wore sandals to the roller skating rink. Fr Lang will be missed.

Fr. Lang was one of the many priest who took the time to spend with our people. He cared for our children an gave them their first communion,we loved his laughter an good sense of humor. We will miss him dearly, rest in peace.
