Joseph LaStrape, 73, went to glory on Sunday, June 2, 2013. His family was with him at home when he took his heavenly journey. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, at New Road Church of Christ, 3100 S. New Rd., Waco, with Brian Gochenour officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery....

I am so sorry that you are missing your beloved Joseph & Dad. I will always remember his love for the Bible and teaching Bible study.
He was a generous man sharing his wife and children with so many.
I am grateful to have fellowshipped with you all way back when.

I ask God to give all of you strength during this difficult time. Family and friends will do many things to comfort you. However, it will take faith and time to get you through the healing process. You will be missed Uncle Joe but I find comfort in the fact you were a believer of Jesus Christ!!
