I worked with Mr. Latchum for 16 years while at Home Federal. Although I worked in Norfolk, it was always a pleasure talking with him or seeing him at meetings. He always had a kind word for others and always demonstrated helpfulness.

My family was blessed to have had him as part of ours. We will all miss his cheery nature, strong sense of humor, warmth and caring, and the way he took a personal interest in each one of us. I am glad to have known him.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Latchums death. I so enjoyed seeing him at the football and basketball games he attended for his grandson Philip. He will be missed. I am unable to attend the memorial service due to a prior commitment . Sue Jobe
