I had the good fortune to hang with Red Dog and Greg at Greg's grandmother's house after a gig by the Allman Brothers in Nashville
in 1971. He was such a warm and friendly soul. Always there with a handshake and a smile. He thrilled me with great stories of the road. I met him again 20 years later after a show and we had a few laughs remembering that time. God bless him. Truly a legendary figure in Rock history.
