On behalf of myself and the members of the General Smedley D. Butler Detachment of the Marine Corps League, Newtown Square, PA, we offer our deep felt condolences for your loss. Joseph served his country as a Marine and served others as a family man and as a Warrant Unit Supervisor. I am very sorry for your loss. I only knew "Gunney" for a short time while we trained together at the Northeast Counter Drug Center at Fort Indiantown Gap. We trained hard together and he was a great team leader. I would have follwed him through fire and water.
