Not sure what to say?

David, It was an honor to have worked with your dad. He was professional, kind and pleasant. In this sorrowful time, my family and I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences. May our Lord comfort you and your loved ones.

Joe work for me at the disciplinary board after he retired from the Philadelphia PD. He was a good employee and a first rate, nice guy. I was sorry to read of his passing.

I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I worked with him at the Disciplinary Board. Our offices were close to each other. He was so kind and made it pleasurable to come to work. I can still see his smiling face. He was a co-worker but also a good friend. God now has another angel in heaven to help him. Denise Smith

To the entire Leipert family, my family expresses their sincerest condolences. I worked with David and I see where he got his intellect from, a real chip off the old block. God Bless Mr. Leipert & all that mourn his passing. Rest in Peace Joseph.

My prayers are with my entire family my father in law will be missed dearly

The Philly P.D. ran the gamut of good and bad supervisors. As to the good none were above Joe. We were very fortunate to have worked for him and also have him as a friend. Paul & Kathy Dudov

Deepest sympathies to the family from your nephew Greg Leipert.

Sorry for his passing, Joe was a friend to my brother Jack Henri who was also a police officer. My husband Joe McCabe remembers him dressing as an Indian on Halloween many years ago.
