Our condolences to Frenchie's family. We have been enjoying his cooking for 20 years--my daughter dubbed the restaurant "The Lunch eater" when she was two and though we live away now, we still try to get through Sedalia for catfish or red beans and rice when we can.

Mes condoléances à la famille LeMaire.
Frenchie will be missed by all who knew him. He knew no strangers.

So sorry for the loss of your dad. Both your mom and dad were very special people and will be greatly missed. The one great memory I still have is when we all lived in Florida and we would get together with our parents and friends on Saturday nights to visit, play games and make home made ice cream. How all of us kids would fight over who was going to sit on the ice cream maker till the ice cream was done. And your dad always had a story to tell us. He will be greatly missed by everyone. You...

Your Grandson

Vickki and all the Lemaire Family, please accept our condolences for the loss of "Frenchie". He will be greatly missed, and seeing by the condolences left here by others, he is missed by people from all over the United States. He was a great guy. We always have so much fun eating at LeMaire's, the food's great and we always left with a smile, from all the stories and conversations, with Frenchie and other family members.

Joe, Gail. and all the family my deepest sympathies go out to you as I know what it feels like to lose a parent long before you are ever ready to. Just know and be happy that he is in a better place and with your mom again.

We'll miss Frenchie, Monday always came and we always came up with the idea to eat in Sedalia and Lamairs. 90% of our eating out was at Lamairs. We would bring guests, and always could count on an excellent meal. Kerstens

Know that our prayers are with you and your family during this time of sadness.

I worked with your Mom at Head Start and have enjoyed many a catfish dinner at the resturant.

We have been going to LeMaire's since they opened.....(that was before they expanded to the south) and boy would it get cold in there in the winter! We loved the late-night omelets such as the Cajun & Seafood omelets! Frenchie was always offering us something new to try, like 'gator etc. If he wasn't at the restaurant, he was either on his way, to or from, New Orleans to pick up fresh seafood. Frenchie lived the saying, "Laissez les bons temps rouler"! LeMaire's just won't be the same...
