Not sure what to say?

Dear Dominican Fathers and Family and Friends of Father Lennon: I wrote already but wanted to add a couple of things since I wrote on June 24th. My Mom was an invalid and always looked forward to reading Father's articles in the RI Catholic (The Providence Visitor) and his OpEd pieces in the Providence Journal and in any publication she read and Father's name appeared. She would eagerly read Father's writings and receive so many blessings and graces from what he wrote. So did I. I think the...

Thank you, on behalf of all the Dominican Friars at Providence College and throughout the Province of St Joseph, to all of you who expressed such touching reminiscences and affection for our brother, Fr Joseph Luke Lennon, O.P. Thank you, also, to all who came to take part in his funeral Mass and burial in the PC Friars' cemetery on Saturday, June 25th.

Gratefully in Christ,

Fr Brian M. Mulcahy, O.P.
Prior Provincial
New York, NY

I will never forget you. You were a positive influence in my life. What I remember most is our Golf days and how much you loved the 19th for your Johnny Walker Black. I am sure you are sitting at the head table of our Lord. You will be saddly missed. By all

Father Joseph you will be so missed by so many. I have thought of you often since the days of being your visiting nurse. I know that you are in Heaven! You were a wonderful person and it is true that Rhode Island and PC has lost a wonderful soul.

Prayers and thoughts go out to the friends and faculty at Providence College. I will never forget Father Lennons Faith and love for God and man. We will miss his smile and wisdom shared at St. Josephs in Fall River. Andrew Bissinger class of 1990

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Father Lennon.

We have lost one of the great Rhode Islanders, Preacher, Golfer and friend to all. I will miss his smile, his voice, his zest for life, despite a 20 year struggle with skin cancer.

Dear Dominican Fathers and Family and of Father Lennon: I have so many memories of Father. As a youngster growing up I often heard the name of "Father Lennon" from my parents and began to hear him speak at various Masses and various Churches in RI. When I attended PC, Father had already retired, but I would see him on campus and he always greeted me and made me feel like he was rooting for my success. (I think he was!) When I finished graduate school and returned to teach at PC for a few...

Father Lennon buried my father, his cousin. I will never forget what that act of kindness meant to me.
