Not sure what to say?

Dear Holly and Joel -

Your Dad, Dan Corley and my husband, Bob Barton, were friends since school days, some forty-plus years ago. I met Joe when Bob and I were dating, about thirty-three years ago.

He was a man of integrity, honesty, and values who cared enormously for his family and friends.

He shared his passion for automobiles and love of animals, too.

At the time of Dee's funeral last year, it was clearly evident the number of people who...

Dear Holly and Joel, I have known your dad for a while now and I can say he was a good man. His home was always open to me and my daughter. He loved my daughter. I can say that he made me feel comfortable in his presence and was a very kind man. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers to your family.

My Uncle Joe gave me many memories throughout my childhood. As I spent many weekends and summers at his and my aunts home, he gave me a father figure I didn't have. I'll always remember how he called me "papoose". So sad that such a dear person was taken from us so soon. He will be missed dearly. My thoughts are with you Joel and Holly. I know what your going through.

Dear Lenoir Children,
I never had the pleasure of meeting your father, I am the sister of Dan Corley, who has been a friend of his since high school. I often heard my brother speak of what a good and loyal friend your father was to him. Finding such a friend is not easy and it is a reason to hold your father in high esteem that he was such a friend. I want to express my condolences to you at this time of loss.

Sincerely,
Virginia Corley Schroeder

Our sincere condolences on the passing of your father. I had a Heart Transplant in March 1992, and Joe would spend hours at the hospital with my family when the Drs didn't know if I was going to live or not. Joe did alot for my husband Ron and I, he would take us and my sister Mari to OHSU after he got home from working the night shift to have my weekly tests. He would always kiss and hug me and ask how I was doing. Joe was a kind man, he will be missed.

Dear Lenoir Family,

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your Father. We enjoyed talking with him through the years down at the State Farm Office. He was so passionate about his family and vehicles. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed.

Sincerely,

Linda Bozarth
