I miss you Joe and your Camel; cigs. I am Don Gasvoda ( By Dad..Nic name) and I was your bunk mate, beer drinking friend in the 99th A& E at Fairchild AFB for 3 years. I was discharge Jan 29,1955 and like you I returned to school, graduated as a Electrical Engineer.
Now 88 yrs living in a Senior home with wife. We had a lot of good times together.
Had a dream last night that i talked to you , I did a search and found this Obit .

Our families have been through life together for 50+ years - friends/family for life. Joe was a soft-spoken living doll, always kind and always a smile. Barb and the kid's took such great care of him when he needed them, I hope you all have peace knowing you cared for him like all parents would hope to be looked after. There wasn't a time in the last couple years that I didn't see one of his kid's car in the driveway. We will miss him terribly but most of all Rene will miss sneaking out of...
