Daddy:

The time has come for us to end this book now. Hopefully this will be the last entry in your book, so many people wrote so many beautiful things about you, said a lot of nice stuff & even shared a few memories that they had recalled with you. Some were funny, some were just like you.. either way, I loved reading most of them. I love you Dad, for all the days of my life.

Your loving daughter

Dear Joan My prayers are with you on the loss of your loving and caring husband. The couple of times that I met him he kept me laughing. What a wonderful time you two must of had. My prayers will be with you. Kay-Helene Wood Spring Hill, Fl.

Dad,
I can't believe it's been over a month already since you began your journey back home, the time seems to fly by so quick, but yet so slow. How quickly since you've gone, but so slowly thinking when I'll be able to hug and kiss and hold you again. I know it will seem like forever down here, but for you it will be Godspeed. I just want you to know that I want to spend the rest of my days making you as proud of me as I am/was of you. You left me with so many reminders of your love....

It's still so hard to believe you are gone Dad. I'll miss your phone calls, and how when I would ask you if you wanted to talk to Lorri now, you would say, "No, I'm talking to you". And/or how you would always ask for me and tell Lorri to give Shellie a big hug and a kiss for me, and to send your love. We'll miss all your great advice, and step by step instructions of how to ______.
You always made me laugh and smile, and brought a lot of happiness into our lives. I love and will miss you...

Dear Joan,
I was so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. I first learned of it when I was in Atlanta and read an email. I couldn't believe it and was so sorry that I wouldn't be here to help in any way that I could. Bud was such a great guy. Whenever I called or came over, I never knew what to expect from him, but he always had me laughing. He's in a better place now and we will never forget him.
