Dear Helen, I learned of Joe's death by reading the Iron Mtn Daily News on line. My condolences to you and your family. Know that my prayers are with you at this time. I remember the fun times at IC Parish in Iron Mtn when we had Bingo and then went to Bimbo's afterwards. Joe was always willing to help and go the extra mile when asked. May God grant him peace and may God bless you and keep you close to his heart!

We will miss you Grandpa Joe. Your great grandson Christopher loved playing around with you. You are a terrific man who we look up to. In your memory we are naming our 2nd son, your 19th great grandchild who is due in a month after you. Zachary Lawrence Johnson. Rest in peace.

My wife is the daughter of Iris Wright a good friend and neighbor of Joe and Helen. I have met Joe a few times when we visited Iris and Joe seemed to be a very sociable and good guy. He took us to the Catholic church and helped us a few times get around Mesa. I will miss him when next we visit Iris. Please accept our condolences.
