Not sure what to say?

Joe's Dad drove us to our induction on March 31, 1966, Joe joining the U.S. Navy, and me joining the U.S. Marine Corps. Joe served on the riverboats in Vietnam, and I fondly remember him from both before and after our military service. Rest in peace, Brother. Prayers.

Tommy I was sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Joe. My prayers are with you, your Mom & your family. I hope God will grant you all comfort in the days ahead.

Please accept our prayers and sympathy. Joe was a great guy - thoughtful, intelligent, introspective - and he had a great sense of humor. Joe's dad, Joe, Sr. drove us to the old Boston Army Base on the day we were inducted into the military - Joe into the U.S. Navy, and me into the U.S. Marine Corps. We went our separate ways, and both ended up in Vietnam. The last time I saw Joe was at the rededication of "the corner," Charles St. and the Fellsway, in honor of John Waden, one of many of our...
