Not sure what to say?

To the Loeffler Family: We just learned of Dr. Loeffer's death today. He was our doctor for 30 years and there wasn't anything that you couldn't talk to him about. To say that he was special would be an understatement. He was one of a kind and we will miss him more than we can say. Our prayers are with you all.

I was very sorry to read of Dr. Loeffler's untimely death. He was my doctor for 22 years and took care of my husband during his final illness 8 years ago. His "bedside manner" was superb and he used what he learned from his patients in his exceptional ability at diagnosing. I saw him last fall and we discussed his difficult illness. He looked great then and I am so very sorry that his disease recurred. I will miss him very much and wish comfort to his family in this very sad time for them.

My deepest condolences to Dr. Loeffler's family. He was my doctor for 22 years and also cared for my husband. He was the best doctor I ever had, always having time for his patients, explaining everything thoroughly and answering questions in detail. I feel like I've lost a friend and doctor. I was in shock when I found out he passed away. Always caring and non-judgemental, he made visits to his office pleasant and he was easy to talk to about anything. He brought us both through many...

Words can not express the loss of Dr. Loeffler. I was his patient for 21 years and he literally saved my life on Oct. 4, 1987. He shared the same birthday as my father, Sept. 5th. I'll never forget him and was fortunate to find out in time to attend the wake services on Thursday. Karen and family, I express my deepest sympathies. May God comfort all of you at this time with the knowledge and faith that we will all see him again one day in God's kingdom. Julianna will fill your hearts...

My wife and I wish to express our deepest sympathies to the family of Dr. Joe Loeffler. He has been our personal physician for over 25 years and his loss affects us deeply. His caring and understanding nature has gotten us through many a tough time. He has been our rock.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Dr Loeffler was one in a million. My family and I have been with him since day one. His kindness, compassion and patience was always genunine.

His care for my mother Doreen was like none other. He will always have a special place in my heart.

My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. He truly was a great physican, but most all "a friend."

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Loeffler family. I knew Dr. Loeffler's brother Paul. Paul (and Nancy) I am so very sorry for your loss. Peace to you.

Dear Loeffler Family,
I knew Joe at Holy Cross. we were both waiters at Kimball Hall as well as pre-med students. He was always a pleasure to work with and I am sure a great doc. Tom Furey HC class of 1972
