We are saddened by the loss of a true man, a christian, and american patriot! Joe was an inspiration to many and loved his family and friends. I vividly recall Joe's passion and commitment to Chickahominy and was a part of establishing the US War Memorial at Hamilton Avenue School.

Dear Loparco Family,
Every day, I look at the beautiful picture of my cousin in his hot tub, which I have hung up in my house, with the look of comfort and peace, as he has that look relaxing in the tub! May you all find peace in your hearts that he lived a joyous life, with his...

Dear JoAnn,
The world of education has suffered a great loss with Mr. Loparco"s (Joe) passing. His teaching methods should be a standard for all who have contact with young people. Joe incorporated life skills, respect for family and friends every day he taught. He made you want to be a better person. I hope I earned his respect because he surely had mine. I am so sorry for your loss. De Chila, former student.

Mr. Loparco not only taught us drafting but taught us many life skills as well. Respect, hard work, and dedication just to name a few. He helped me decide the carrier path of Law Enforcement that I ultimately pursued. Mr. Loparco cared about his students not only as students but as young men and women. He will be fondly remembered by many.
