Not sure what to say?

was sad to hear about Joe.. I was a PAL cadet and worked in Robbery when he was a Lt.. I would often visit him at Richmond Station, when he was Capt. there.. Hope to see you again Joe.. Love and Hugs.. Lori Kamler

I met Joe on my first night at Northern Station out of the Police Academy. He was a Sergeant at the time. I could not believe my good luck in meeting someone like Joe. I later had the good fortune to work with Joe on the CP squad. We rode around together until he was promoted to Lieutenant. My luck continued as Joe was the Lieutenant in the Robbery Detail. He was a great guy, a great cop and became a very special friend.

As a young officer I was assigned to Central Station in the early 70's and worked under the supervision of Lt. Lordan. He was an excellent supervisor, a true gentleman and a role model for me and other young officers. Rest in Peace Deputy Chief Lordan.

A great cop, great boss and truly wonderful person. God Bless...

Joe was the ultimate community volunteer, especially as a coach and administrator in the Fairfax Sleepy Hollow Little League. He (and Joan) we're absolutely the best. It was always challenging an especially FUN to play against his teams. It was an honor to have known him.

In the San Francisco Police Department there were good bosses and their were great bosses, Joe Lordan was in the class of the great ones. God Bless him, Bob Puccetti

Joe was one of the finest human beings and one of the best cops ever to wear the badge. He touched all of our lives in a positive way. We were all better cops and better people because of him. He gave me the opportunity and the encouragement to get back to full duty after an off duty injury that might have ended by career as an active officer.
My sincere condolences to his family. May he Rest In Peace.

RIP Chief Thank You for your guidance and support.
